PN Member Azay Guliyev Calls for Increased Efforts to Settle Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict

“It is necessary to increase the efforts of the international community for fair settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” said PN member Azay Guliyev MP during a meeting in Germany with Doris Barnett, Member of the German Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs and Vice-President of the OSCE Parliament Assembly.

PN member Azay Guliyev highlighted the importance of creating an atmosphere of trust between the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno-Karabakh. He also asked for support to the initiative of bringing together representatives of the two communities.

Doris Barnett, in turn, proposed to hold a meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Members of Parliament.
