Mr. Madzimure has been the MP for Kambuzuma in Harare since June 2000 and was elected Second Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Zimbabwe in 2008. He represents Zimbabwe at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and is a member of the African Parliamentarians Network Against Corruption Zimbabwe Chapter (APNAC Zimbabwe).

Born on 17 September 1962 in Zaka, Masvingo province, Mr. Madzimure joined the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) at its formation in 1999 and in March 2011 he was elected MDC Harare province secretary. Prior to that he was the Harare provincial secretary for information and publicity. During the 6th House of Assembly – from 2005 to February 2008 – Mr. Madzimure was the party spokesperson on Foreign Affairs issues. Mr. Madzimure is married; he holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and runs a successful business in Harare.
