Public Hearing on EU Relations with ASEAN and Southeast Asia

On June 18, 2013, the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs will hold a public hearing on "Foreign Policy Considerations in EU Relations with ASEAN and Southeast Asia" from 15:00 to 17:00, in the József Antall Building - JAN 2Q2 of the European Parliament in Brussels.

PN Member Elmar Brok MEP will chair the hearing. As speakers are invited, amongst others: 

• H.E. Nyan Lynn, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political Security Community 

• Mr. Karsten Warnecke, Deputy Executive Director, Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), Singapore

• Dr. Clara Portela, Assistant Professor of Political Science, Singapore Management University

• Prof Jürgen Rüland, Southeast Asian Studies, University of Freiburg

• Mr. Reinhard Bütikofer MEP, AFET Rapporteur
