Lord McConnell attends the Asia and the Pacific Parliamentarian and CSO Forum on MDG Acceleration

Lord McConnell is in Bali, Indonesia as part of an outward UK parliamentary delegation participating in the UNDP Asia-Pacific Regional Forum on MDG Acceleration and the Post 2015 Development Agenda. The Forum will address several themes such as Incorporating Gender Equality in the Post 2015 Development Framework, Water & Sanitation for All, Governance & Human Rights and Inequality, Discrimination and Stigmatization.

The Forum boasts participation from various International Organizations, including UNDP and WaterAid UK, as well as parliamentarians from around the world, including Australia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Pakistan and the Solomon Islands.
